Curriculum & Instruction


The mission of the Office of Curriculum & Instruction is to establish a rigorous, engaging, and standards-aligned academic educational program that prepares students for college and career readiness. The Director of Curriculum oversees the district curriculum, professionalBook laying open with a tree coming out of it. The trunk of the tree is a sharpened pencil and the leaves are lightbulbs, calculators, protractors, etc. learning, and assessment delivery and analysis for students in grades PreK-12th. The office works to develop and enhance family and community partnerships to promote high levels of student success and achievement. All of this work is performed with the basis of identifying specific areas to prioritize for improvement in alignment with the goals of the Strategic Educational Framework (SEF) and the Stafford Board of Education.

Mr. Autieri is the Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment for the Stafford Public Schools. He will be entering his third full year in Stafford. Prior to joining the Stafford Public Schools, Mr. Autieri served as the Science Curriculum Leader K-12 for the Suffield Public Schools. Mr. Autieri was the Teacher of the Year for the East Haven Public Schools and was named the 2017 recipient of the National Science Teachers Association Robert E. Yager Excellence in Teaching Award in Buffalo, NY at the National Congress for Science Education.
